I currently offer Art therapy to children, adolescents and young adults, virtually, in-person, and in alternative learning environments. I use a client-centered eclectic approach which uses expressive art therapy, mindfulness and somatic based techniques aimed at repairing disconnection between the mind, body, and the outer world. Art therapy is particularly useful when words can sometimes feel limiting or restricting. I consider myself a facilitator in the creative process where I guide individuals on their healing journey.
Art acts as a safe space for issues to be explored. Experience with art making is not necessary, art is simply a tool for expression.
